My name is Allison and I am currently studying for a Master´s in International Relations at the Diplomatic Academy of Vienna. I´m from the United States and currently living in Neubau. My mother tongue is English, but I also speak German and Russian. I am looking for a nanny position for the summer. I am also able to provide occasional care on evenings and weekends or work on a part time basis when the academic year begins again in October. I´m more than willing to help with homework, prepare healthy meals, perform light housework, and take care of any pets. I am trustworthy, reliable, a non-smoker and I received my first-aid and CPR certification from the American Red Cross. I really love kids and have been a babysitter for the past 12 years. I am an especially great tutor. In uni I tutored my peers in Russian, but in high school I worked with a 10 year old on math and a 6 year old on reading skills. I motivate kids to work on their homework and especially love encouraging them and working with them on homework for subjects that aren´t their favorite. I spent two summers working full time as a camp counselor for children aged 8-12. I supervised bus pick-up and drop offs, meal times, taught arts and crafts, and lead group activities outside. I have worked as a full time nanny for one summer with a family that had a 9-year-old-boy and 12-year-old girl. I drove the kids to and from activities, organized play dates, prepared breakfast and lunch, walked the dog, and encouraged children to work on their summer reading projects. I have experience looking after a toddler on parents occasional date night that included playing, bath time and reading books before bed. In addition to my experience supervising groups of 12 children as a camp counselor, I cared for a family with five children aged between 5 and 13.
Dear Sir or Madam, Thank you for your interest in my profile. I will try to describe myself as precisely as I can, but I am always eager and ready to answer all of Your additional questions:) I am communicative and active person. I adore sports and active way of time spending. I love art and adore literature, that is why from every trip I always bring books. I am married ad currently live and work in Poland, at the present moment me and my husband are planning to move abroad, that is why I am looking for a permanent job with the stable income. I am fond of sports and can’t imagine my life without exercising. My husband is a big motivation for me, cause he is very fit and strong :) I adore kids and pets (in my case - especially dogs!), learning languages and gaining new experience. I am almost 34. I speak fluent Polish, Russian, Ukrainian and English. My level of Slovak language is rather B1 , French - A2, German language - A1. I am quite keen in learning new languages. I´ve worked for 2 years at primary and secondary school, and still have tutorships with kids and adults, I was supervising the kids groups in the summer camps (Ukraine) and during EURO 2012 - Coca-Cola Flag Team program - Poland, Warsaw 2012. I´ve spent more than 4 years as an au-pair in Slovakia(Bratislava) taking care of two little girls (they were 2 months and 5 years old when I´ve joined the family). That was my first experience working as a nanny and it can be described only in superlatives. That was the best family and the most wonderful time I´ve spent abroad. I am good at administrative job, currently I am working as a Junior Specialist in Management and Development Office. I have Polish citizenship. My husband’s Ukrainian. He doesn’t need visa or work permit to travel to another EU country as a spouse of EU citizen. In our opinion family should always stick together, that is why, we want to move to another country only together, cause we can’t imagine we are somehow separated by distance, thus, ideal solution for us will be to find an employer who accepts couples and will be able to help us with finding an accomodation. BR, Olga D.
